A Best Seller Worth Your Time - Which Doesn't Have To Be A Lot
Since purchasing my business in January, I admit I did not read a lot of bestselling fiction. A voracious non fiction reader, I was in the process of diving into fiction again, mainly because of discovering The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. Now I'm pushing myself to read one fiction book a weekend. This is my latest. Well enjoyed. My Goodreads review is below. My copy is currently for sale in the store at less than half of the cover price. Come and get it!
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book kept me guessing until the end. I found the premise of estranged identical twins with one on the island of Nantucket and one on the island of Martha's Vineyard an intriguing set-up. There were two plot points, however, that I didn't find quite believable because the resolution didn't match the intensity of the inciting incidents. However, a book with descriptive characters and questions of, "How in the world will this get resolved?" helped me bang this book out in a weekend. While a book club recommended it as a "Families are complicated" read, I would also call it a great poolside option, as well.
